About
Couture in a waste material.
A capsule built entirely from polyethylene — the same film used to wrap pallets and protect floors. Every panel is heat-welded rather than sewn, so the garment holds a seam no thread would survive.
We staged it in an empty gallery with the daylight left raw. White walls, white floor, one window: the material had to be the only event in the frame.
The bag is not a prop. It is the offcut from the dress, collected and carried, so the piece leaves with everything it cost to make.
