Aperture
About
An opening carved to frame weather.
A concept for a viewing structure set into a hillside: no windows, no glass, one aperture oriented on the valley’s morning fog.
The interior surfaces are continuous. Nothing meets at an angle, so the eye has no edge to hold and goes straight to the opening.
Rendered from a single sun position at 06:40 — the twenty minutes a year the geometry was drawn for.
